To enable our customers to produce even better performing batteries we cannot stand still. We need to find new ways to do things, discover new solutions and develop new ideas. What you will be doing

  1. Assists in improvement of current analytical processes and practices across RBM analytical laboratories through application of the lean and CI methodologies:
    • Identifies the opportunities for process improvement, waste removal and cost reduction connected with RBM analytical laboratories
    • Conducts detail analysis of the current situation and propose future state
    • Deploys lean methodologies like Six Sigma to drive continous improvement
    • Conducts time studies and Kaizen events with global analytical teams
  2. Increases awareness of the CI role and promotes continous improvement culture within RBM analytical environments
  • Supports cross functional and global analytical teams on lean and continous improvement methods and its practical applications
  1. Participates in the cross-site analytical improvement projects
    • Assists in data gathering and business case calculation
    • Evaluates and prioritizes potential improvements based on gains and required effort
  2. Effectively collaborates with other leaders across RBM analytical organization to develop, optimize and standardise the best lean practices

Who we are looking for

Functional requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in industrial engineering, process engineering, or a related field.
  • Lean and Six Sigma qualifications (Green Belt)
  • Practical experience with utilization of lean and CI tools and principles (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, RCA, VSM, 8 Step Problem Solving, Poka-Yoke, FMEA etc.)
  • Organized and analytical mindset
  • Persistence (to ensure on-time deliverables from all stakeholders)
  • Fluent English
  • Experience within automotive industry is a plus
