About the Technical Young Graduate Program
On this program we prepare starting engineers for a clearly predefined management positions in a technical field at our sites in Olen and Hoboken. Required skills differ depending on the business unit, but all Technical Young Graduates will be coached during a specifically designed development program spread over different units and locations. You will be able to quickly contribute to our business. You will benefit from a custom made development plan and get support from an experienced mentor during the entire program.

- Master in Chemical or Process Engineering with a keen interest in chemical processing, and developing technological skills, a solid scientific approach
- Fluent in English

What you will be doing
- Junior Process Technologist
You join the Process Technology and Engineering team in Belgium (Olen) that is in charge of engineering, upscaling and industrialization of new process routes for the synthesis of cathode materials and/or its precursor. You participate to process improvement projects dealing with powder handling, firing technology, precursor technology, purity control, sampling, …. You will support testing campaigns in mass production, measuring process parameters and use statistical skills to analyze data and report conclusions.
- Junior Process Developer
You join the Process development R&D team in Belgium (Olen) that is in charge of improving existing or developing new process routes for the synthesis of cathode materials and/or its precursors. You take part of the process projects focusing on specific aspects of the cathode flowsheet. You will perform both theoretical as well as lab/pilot experiments to validate the concept before moving into upscaling trials (up to industrial pilot-scale). You use your analytical, statistical and communication skills to analyze the data, define the next steps and report the conclusions.
